Bayer Leverkusen przegrał na własnym stadionie aż 1:4 z Zenitem St. Petersburg w pierwszym meczu ćwierćfinałowym Pucharu UEFA. trwają pozostałe ćwierćfinały. Najciekawiej zapowiadało się starcie Bayernu Monachium z hiszpańskim Getafe i Fiorentiny z PSV Eindhoven.
