Nowy trener niemieckich skoczków narciarskich Werner Schuster do kadry na sezon 2008/2009 powołał dziewięciu zawodników. W zespole znaleźli się Michael Uhrmann, Stephan Hocke, Michael Neumayer, Martin Schmitt, Georg Spaeth oraz trójka juniorów Andreas Wank, Severin Freund i Erik Simon.
